Ok! It’s time to start voting people!

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced their 2020 nominees and it includes our beloved Whitney Houston and the only Christopher we acknowledge, Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace.

This is the first nomination for both artists and they join a total of 16 artists across genres including the legendary duo Rufus and Chaka Khan who are both nominated for the third time, according to The New York Post.

In order to be considered as a nominee for the Hall of Fame, the artist or band must have released their first major recording at least 25 years prior to the nomination, reports CNN.

If Biggie is inducted he will only be the second solo hip-hop artist to be recognized by the Rock & Roll HOF, the first being Tupac Shakur, reports Blavity. Both Biggie and Houston have received a number of posthumous honors including the ASCAP Award honoring Biggie on the 20th anniversary of his death and the Billboard Millennium Award granted to Houston in 2012 for her contribution to music.

The final class is selected by a group of 1,000 fellow artists and music industry vets, but fans can also vote at rockhall.com or at the Rock & Roll HOF Museum in Cleveland from now until January 10, 2020. The top five artists selected by the public will make up a “fans ballot” that will be included with the other ballots to decide the 2020 class of inductees.

Past Rock & Roll HOF inductees include Janet Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Prince.

The ceremony takes place May 2, 2020 at Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio.
