Hip Hop mogul Percy “Master P” Miller is supporting the seniors in New Orleans by offering free sanitizing products and services, Black Enterprise reports.
The NOLA native is offering seniors in his hometown free hand sanitizer and home deep cleaning services to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. So far, Louisiana has more than 18,000 residents who have tested positive for the coronavirus, WDSU reports. Almost all of the parishes are impacted and more than 500 people have died as a result. With senior citizens being at increased risk of catching the virus, Miller is stepping up to try and help flatten the curve.
The raptrepreneur is allowing anyone aged 60 years or older to sign up for a deep cleaning of their home and two types of hand sanitizers, completely free of charge. “A lot of people can’t get these hand sanitizers. We are probably the only ones in New Orleans that has it so we want to make sure that the elderly have it,” Miller said.
Team Hope NOLA, Miller’s foundation, is also purchasing groceries for senior citizens in need, giving cash donations, and offering pick up and drop off delivery of essential items.
