This is why he’s the G.O.A.T.
Michael Jordan is reportedly donating all of his proceeds from “The Last Dance” documentary to charity, Black Enterprise reports.
The 10-part documentary debuted this past week, profiling the story of Jordan and the 1990s Chicago Bulls meteoric rise to the top. The story mixes archival footage with interviews from the team and the franchise that made it all happen. Initially set to air during the start of the 2020 NBA Finals, the release was pushed up early thanks to pressure from the fans.
Jordan, rightly considered the greatest player of all time, has decided to donate his portion of the proceeds to charity, which should reach nearly $4 million. The NBA phenom led the league in scoring 10 times, was a 14-time all star and received the Most Valuable Player award in all 6 of his finals appearances.
He continues to raise the bar off the court. From his hurricane relief efforts in the Bahamas, to his new Jordan Family Medical Clinic in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. Jordan has donated millions to serving communities all across the globe. This newest donation is just another example of his commitment to helping those who need it the most.
Thank you for all you’re doing Mike!
