All moms deserve star treatment!
Getting your parents gifts can be difficult, but one son has outdone himself this year. Myles Loftin, a sought after Maryland-based photographer and Parsons graduate, decided to help make his mother, Tammy McBride-Loftin, 50th birthday special. He prepared a fully decked out photoshoot, which went viral on Twitter.
My mom has always wanted to be a model, so I gave her a photoshoot with a full glam team for her 50th birthday ✨ pic.twitter.com/2BfexzZCgJ

The comments were full of support and calls for her to consider the career full-time.

Myles told Because Of Them We Can that his mom came up with the idea instead of a traditional birthday party due to the global pandemic.
“She’s always been interested in fashion, and when she was my age she was really into modeling. I just helped put the team together,” Myles told BOTWC. “She was really happy with how the photos came out, it was a really fun experience for her. Also, seeing everyone’s reaction to the photos when I put them online made her really feel special.”
In response to whether or not she’s going to be going to try her luck at modeling anytime soon, Myles said, “Who knows, maybe!”
This isn’t the first time the 22-year-old has gone viral. At 19, Loftin released a photo and video project ‘HOODED’ in 2016, which centered around humanizing and decriminalizing how black men and boys are perceived by our society, which received much acclaim.
Keep working it, Mama! Happy Birthday!
