“You make that Bubba?” a shocked Brittany asks Kingsley on the video.
“Yup,” he happily replies as he grooves to his music in the backseat.
The futuristic sound eventually caught mega producers and celebrities’ attention, including Diplo, TrapNation, the Detroit Lions, Billie Elish’s brother Finneas, Steve Aoki, and more. The video has been viewed by more than 8 million users on TikTok. Kingsley is already thinking about what next.
He hopes to hear from superproducer Pharrell, but in the meantime, he’s started sharing more of his songs to Soundcloud and across social media. Currently run by his parents, Kingsley had just one message for his more than 200,000 followers.
“You’re amazing. You are great. Thank you for following my TikTok and Instagram,” he said.
