A Ghanaian couple recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, crediting God with keeping them together, Legit reports.
Dr. Samuel Y Boadi-Slaw and his wife married 50 years ago, recently celebrating their half-century anniversary with a beautiful photoshoot adorned in kente cloth. The momentous occasion was celebrated across social networks, the couple crediting their long-lasting marriage to God.
“We are committed to God, the institution of marriage, and one another,” Dr. Boadi-Slaw told reporters.

The two shared that since the day they got married, they’ve been praying together daily. No matter the obstacle, the two said they have relied on the Lord to guide their marriage and help them settle differences.
“It’s the same commitment, not as a chore, but because we are married in the Lord, because of the children, and we are to witness to the Lord,” Mrs. Boadi-Slaw said.
