The Hoorae Media CEO is adding another coffee shop to your list of places to visit while in LA!
Last year, award-winning actress and producer Issa Rae was granted the key to the city of Inglewood, becoming the very first person in the South Los Angeles city’s 114-year history to receive such an honor. Since then, she’s continued to impact her community through Black-owned businesses and opening doors for other Black artists.
Issa Rae, Yonnie Hagos, and Ajay Relan recently celebrated the grand opening of their latest coffee shop, Find Your Hilltop Kitchen + Coffee, which also has locations in in Inglewood, Slauson, and Eagle Rock. “Downtown LA has such a rich history of creativity and resilience. We are excited to share the Hilltop experience with the dreamers and doers of the local community,” Rae stated during an interview with Forbes.
“Rooting for everybody Black” includes shopping Black-owned and making sure others can too. As she continues to make a positive impact on her community and provide opportunities for people that look like her, we just want to say thank you! Every step, deed, and idea matters.
