LSU basketball sensation Angel Reese, dubbed the ‘Bayou Barbie’, has declared her intentions to take her talents to the WNBA.
In an exclusive interview with Vogue Magazine, the 21-year-old star disclosed her decision to enter the 2024 WNBA draft, just a week before the NCAA tournament commenced.

On Instagram, she shared an intimate video thanking everyone who supported her on her journey.
Expressing her aspirations, Reese told Vogue, “I’ve done everything I wanted to in college. I’ve won a national championship, I’ve gotten [Southeastern Conference] Player of the Year, I’ve been an All-American. My ultimate goal is to be pro–and to be one of the greatest basketball players to play, ever. I feel like I’m ready.”

With this year’s Elite Eight finish, Reese is a top prospect, projected to be chosen No. 7 by the Minnesota Lynx, according to ESPN’s latest mock draft.
