“America’s Mom” Tabitha Brown, the Emmy-winning host behind the beloved Tab Time YouTube series, is bringing even more love and learning to your homes!
According to Variety, Brown, alongside creative studio Kids at Play, is expanding the Tab Time universe with a brand new app, a children’s book series, and an online shop! This means more opportunities for little ones to learn valuable lessons about kindness, confidence, and self-love, all delivered with Brown’s signature warmth and humor.

The exciting new “Tab Time World” app, developed in partnership with Google Kids Space, is designed to be a safe and engaging space for young children. Available for free for a limited time on Google Kids Space and Google Play, the app lets kids create their own avatars, color pictures with DJ Khrafty, make music with the loveable Avi the Avocado, and embark on adventures with Lenny the Lightning Bug. The app even features prompts that guide kids in creating videos with their avatars, songs, and images – perfect for fostering creativity and sharing the fun with loved ones.
Brown also narrates a brand new interactive book series based on Tab Time characters. Written by showrunner Sean Presant and illustrated by animator Michael Scanlon, the first two books – “Avi to the Rescue” and “Lenny and the Truck-Driving Dinosaurs” – introduce lovable characters from the show’s “Imagination Land” segment.
Brown hints that future books will follow themes explored in the YouTube series itself. “The stories will piggyback off the episodes,” she says. “We’re helping kids give themselves space and time to grow, learn, respect and love themselves and others.”
“The feedback from families has been incredible,” says Kids at Play founder Jason Berger. “Parents are asking for more ‘Tab Time,’ and to me, this means giving them more tools to help raise kind and confident adults.” Berger highlights the collaborative spirit behind the project, emphasizing how the books were designed as an extension of the show, featuring familiar voices and interactive elements.
