Dosso Beauty, a Black woman-owned hypoallergenic braiding beauty company founded by Kadidja Dosso, is opening its first brick-and-mortar store and luxury braid salon in Philadelphia.
Inspired by Madame CJ Walker, @kadidja.dosso created @dossobeauty to offer healthy beauty products accessible to everyone, according to their company website. Their mission extends beyond affordable organic supplies to fostering confidence within people of color.
As the company’s owner shared on Instagram, “Beyond providing products and solutions for sensitive scalp and skin, we’ve been keen on building a community and space where everyone can experience beauty that is intentionally good for us and by us. You’ll now be able to experience it all within our one-stop and Dosso Beauty Experience.”
