Such an inspiring story!
Christopher Willars spent 17 years in prison, where he battled mental health struggles and doubts about his future, @christopher_life_willars shared in a video on Instagram. Despite being told he was a danger to society and had nothing to offer, he turned his life around. He enrolled in every program available, including barber school, and earned his license.
After his release, he defied expectations by opening his own cosmetology school just two years later and becoming a principal. Now, he uses his platform to uplift others with his story, saying, “If I can come back from that so can you.”
He is also the proud founder of @thelifeunit, which provides pre-entry, re-entry, and direct intervention work to those in need.
