Put some respect on her name!
Simone Biles is now the most decorated Olympic gymnast in American history after Team USA took gold in the women’s team competition at the Paris Olympics, NBC News reports.
With her eighth career Olympic medal, Simone Biles broke the record she once shared with Shannon Miller. Even with a calf injury, Biles delivered a flawless performance on the floor exercise and competed in all four events of the team finals.
Biles already boasts four gold, one silver, and two bronze medals from the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics, plus two team medals and individual medals in the all-around, vault, floor exercise, and balance beam. And let’s not forget her 30 World Championship medals!
Huge congrats to Simone and the entire Team USA women’s gymnastics team for bringing home the gold!
