Forever President Barack Obama just dropped his annual summer lists. A tradition he started during his time in the Oval Office, the summer reading and music playlists are always full of diverse authors and artists, showcasing the former POTUS’s range and diverse interests. An annual end-of-summer highlight, this year was no different, with newcomers and fan favorites like Shaboozey, Tems, PJ Morton, and Willow Smith all making Obama’s 2024 Summer Playlist.
“With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!,” wrote Obama.
Other notable artists on the summer playlist include Jill Scott, Blackstreet, 2Pac, H.E.R. Common, Bob Marley, Megan Thee Stallion, The Supremes, and, of course, Beyoncé!
