The cousin connection runs deep with the Jacksons!

The Jackson family needs no introduction. Iconic all by themselves, they have birthed several legends, fundamentally changing the landscape of entertainment culture. And as if The Jackson 5, Michael, and Janet weren’t enough, the bloodline is heavy on the icon, with the famous Jackson family also related to THEE Stevie Wonder

Janet Jackson revealed the famous familial connection on several occasions. In her self-titled docuseries, she discussed their maternal link more in-depth through her mother, Katherine Jackson. Now, she is revealing more of her A-list cousins in a new BBC interview.

Jackson recently appeared on the BBC “Radio 2 Breakfast Show” to discuss her legendary career. Host Scott Mills diverted a little to inquire about her extensive familial roots, prompting Jackson to shockingly reveal even more of her famous cousins.

“Now someone told me this earlier, are you related to Stevie [Wonder]?,” Mills asked Jackson.

“He’s our cousin. Not a lot of people know that. He’s our cousin on my mother’s side. So is Tracy Chapman,” Jackson replied matter of factly.

Then she dropped the bomb, “So is Samuel Jackson.”

Stupified, Mills face-palmed himself before inquiring more about the exact familial link.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa…Hang on. Can we go through the family tree?,” said Mills.

Jackson then confirmed that she is cousins to all of them: Stevie Wonder, beloved country singer Tracy Chapman, and iconic actor Samuel L. Jackson: blood cousins, not her mama’s best friend’s kids, actual blood cousins.

Talk about a family tree! Mind blown!
