Last week, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated announced its 2024 Class of Honorary Members. Holding the induction ceremony at the sorority’s international conference in Indianapolis on July 27th, 15 distinguished women were inducted into the ranks of the century-old organization, pledging their continued commitment to “civic engagement and the advancement of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.’s principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood,” PR Newswire reports.

The newest class of Honorary Members will advance Zeta Phi Beta’s goals as Zeta Phi Beta women everywhere work together to support our communities,” said Gina Merritt-Epps, Esq., International First VP for Membership.
The new Honorary Members inducted into Zeta Phi Beta’s Alpha Omega Chapter include actress Tatyana Ali, engineer and entrepreneur Patrice Banks, Veteran Disability Advocate Jaspen “Jas” Boothe, Brigadier General Felicia Brokaw, the first Black woman to hold the title in Indiana, Silicon Valley Tech maven Caretha Coleman, philanthropist Wanda Durant, social justice advocate and educator Andrea Hunley, singer Leela James, author, and motivational speaker Maimah Karmo, healthcare advocate Dawn Morton-Rias, Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton, sisters Ashley and Dominique Sharpton, community activists and daughters of legendary civil rights leader Al Sharpton, legendary songstress Angie Stone, and Pennsylvania State Representative Regina Young.
