Tiny Desk has landed in the Emerald City!
NPR Tiny Desk just released an electrifying performance featuring the talented cast of The Wiz on Broadway. Swapping their stage costumes for regular clothes, @thewizbway showcased songs from their new #TheWizMusical cast album released last month.

The stellar cast, featuring Avery Wilson, Nichelle Lewis, Melody A. Betts, Alan Mingo Jr., Kyle Ramar Freeman, Phillip Johnson Richardson, Paul Byssainthe Jr., Trevor Holder, and Michael Olatuja, brought new energy to classics from the 1974 musical.
With soulful and passionate performances, they brought to life favorites like “You Can’t Win,” “Ease On Down the Road – Reprise,” and “Home,” embodying the same excellence as they do on stage.
