Cori “Coco” Gauff is the player to watch at Wimbledon this year! First she made us proud when she became the youngest player to qualify for the Wimbledon main draw since the Open Era. Then our hearts swelled when she beat her idol, Venus Williams, in the first round and told her that she was there, because of her. Now, after a victorious performance against Slovakia’s Magdalena Rybarikova, Gauff is headed into the third round.
Gauff beat Rybarikova 6-3, 6-3, on Wednesday and is set to play Polona Hercog today.
