For Chance the Rapper, the best way to celebrate another year of life is to raise money for charity, and that’s exactly what he did. On Sunday, Chance topped off his 24th birthday by hosting a ticketed party at Chicago’s Studio Paris nightclub to raise additional funds for Chicago’s youth. Thanks to his fans, the tickets, which were reportedly sold for $100-$2500 each, sold out. As a result, Chance was able to raise more than $100,000 for his charity SocialWorks, a non-profit organization he co-founded “to empower the youth through arts, education, and civic engagement.”
Chance also celebrated his special day with a “Chicago’s Very Own” Harold’s Chicken themed birthday cake.
