A double dose of Black girl magic has just been added to the cast of Freeform’s ‘Black-ish’ spin-off, ‘Grown-ish’!
Today it was announced that sister singing sensations Chloe and Halle Bailey will be joining Yara Shahidi in Freeform’s upcoming ‘Black-ish’ spin-off called ‘Grown-ish’. The 19 and 17 year-old sisters, who went from singing covers on YouTube to being signed to Beyoncé’s management company, Parkwood Entertainment, are set to have recurring roles on season one of the show.
The spin-off follows Zoey’s (Shahidi) day to day life as she starts college at Southern California University, and according to Deadline, will tackle “the current issues facing both students and administrators in the world of higher education.”
