‘Friday Night Vibes’ is back with new hosts!
TBS is bringing back the beloved “Friday Night Vibes,” which premieres on January 5 at 8:00 pm ET/PT. The revitalized show promises an exciting fusion of film, culture, and entertainment, ushering in a new era for weekend movie programming. It will be hosted by Nina Parker and comedian Kevin Fredericks, also known as KevOnStage.

Parker, known for her work as the host of Netflix’s “Buy My House” and as an E! News correspondent, brings a wealth of pop culture and film knowledge to the show. Her experience as a co-host on E!’s “Nightly Pop” and correspondent for “The Insider” on CBS solidified her as a television personality and pop culture expert.
Fredericks, a digital influencer and author, is recognized as a pioneer in COVID-friendly entertainment. His live-streamed comedy show “Keep Your Distance,” produced through KevOnStage Studios, garnered attention during the pandemic. Fredericks has toured North America and Europe, headlining Live Nation’s stand-up comedy tour “The Bald Brothers 2023,” and has made appearances on HBO’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show.”
The hosts will welcome film enthusiasts to the iconic “The Gathering Spot” in Los Angeles’ West Adams neighborhood, where they’ll lead discussions on cinema, culture, and everything in between, accompanied by surprise guests, Variety reports. The premiere episode will feature a double-feature, starting with “Black Panther,” starring the late Chadwick Boseman, followed by “King Richard,” starring Will Smith. The series promises a diverse range of films in future episodes, including dramas, adventures, and comedies.
