Kerry Washington And Viola Davis Joining Forces For ‘Scandal’ And ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Crossover

Guess what? There’s a “Scandal” and “How To Get Away With Murder” crossover episode headed our way!

On Wednesday, the savvy political fixer Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and the relentless defense attorney Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) took to social media to tease the crossover by taking photos on the set of each other’s shows. 

Washington shared a photo first, along with the caption: “Hey Ms @violadavis ❤️ check it out. This spot look familiar?! Where are you?”

Then Davis, who captioned her photo: “Hey @KerryWashington, guess where I am?!”

Davis’ facial expression pretty much explains how fans of both shows reacted to the news. To top it off, TV powerhouse Shonda Rhimes, who executive produces both shows, posted a photo of the script, along with the caption:‪ “People. It’s happening. @petenowalk (creator of “How To Get Away With Murder”), you ready for this?” 

The air date for the crossover event has not yet been released. New episodes of ABC’s “Scandal” and “How To Get Away With Murder” return January 18.
