He left Paris with something!

Kevin Durant just took home his fourth Olympic Gold Medal, helping lead Team USA to victory at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He also made history, becoming the all-time U.S. leading scorer in Olympic games for men’s or women’s basketball, surpassing former record holder and WNBA Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie.

“Records are meant to be broken, I’ll hold on to this until another great comes along and passes me up. Lisa Leslie you are the gold standard in basketball, I appreciate your love and support throughout the years…much love to you always…it’s all about the gold baby,” wrote Durant.

But a gold medal wasn’t the only thing Durant picked up in Paris, the P.G. County native taking time to finalize his minority ownership purchase of France’s biggest and most successful soccer club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), NBC Sports reports.

Durant took a tour of the PSG campus while in Paris, meeting with team president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Through his Boardroom Sports business company, Durant secured a minority ownership stake reported to be in the “single-digit millions.” Not the first soccer company purchased by the 2x NBA champion, Durant also owns a stake in Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union.

He now joins a growing number of athletes who own sports teams, including Angel Reese, the Antetokounmpo brothers, Naomi Osaka, and LeBron James
