The 2024 NBA Draft introduces a fresh top contender!

Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, has announced his entry into the 2024 NBA Draft while preserving his college eligibility, making the declaration via social media.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the 19-year-old guard, who completed his freshman year at USC, expressed, “I’ve had a year with some ups and downs but all added to growth for me as a man, student and athlete. I’ve made the decision to enter the NBA Draft while maintaining my college eligibility, and will also be entering the NCAA transfer portal.”

Speaking to The Athletic in February 2022, James candidly shared his heartfelt pledge, declaring, “My last year will be played with my son. Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.”

Congratulations and best wishes, Bronny! 🏀
