Once a champion, always a champion!
As promised, NBA icon Michael Jordan donated $2 million in proceeds from his Last Dance documentary to combating hunger relief in America, Fox 29 reports. The basketball legend donated the proceeds from his wildly successful sports miniseries, released earlier this year, to Feeding America, a hunger-relief charity.
The charity took to social media to thank Jordan, saying, “An incredible gift to be thankful for-NBA legend Michael Jordan is donating $2 million to help our neighbors facing hunger!… Every action makes a difference.

“In these challenging times and in a year of unimaginable difficulty due to COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to pause and give thanks. I am proud to be donating additional proceeds from The Last Dance to Feeding America and its member food banks in the Carolinas and Chicago to help feed America’s hungry,” said Jordan.
Feeding America is encouraging everyone to donate or volunteer this holiday season. For more information, visit www.feedingamerica.org/COVID19.
Thanks, Mike! You’re a living legend!
