A new $140 million contract agreement with the Seattle Seahawks just made Russell Wilson the highest paid player in the NFL. Wilson’s deal also broke new ground as his $65 million signing bonus is the highest in the history of the league.
They say beside every good man is a good woman. Which is probably why the future hall of famer decided to make the announcement in a video beside his wife, Ciara.

The deal is for an additional four years and extends his time with the Seahawks through 2023.
Wilson went into the NFL as the 75th pick in the third round of the draft in 2012. Two years later, he led the Seahawks to their first and only Super Bowl win.
Since then, his performance has only improved. Last season was considered one of his best since entering the league. He finished with 35 touchdowns and a passer rating of 110.9.
In the words of his wife, he leveled up!
