She’s not back. She’s better!💫
Sha’Carri Richardson graces the August cover of Vogue Magazine, sharing her journey as she prepares to claim gold at the Paris Olympics this summer.
After earning her spot at the U.S. Olympic qualifying meet, @itsshacarri is set to make her highly anticipated Olympic debut, proving that every setback is a setup for a stronger comeback. In her interview with Vogue, the 24-year-old fastest woman in the world opens up about her unique style, the support she receives from her South Dallas village, and her determination to succeed.
“Every time I step onto the track, I think of all those moments when I was younger—all those feelings are still with me, I’m just that little girl grown up. It’s almost like a flashback journey, everything that brought me to that point. All the grind, all the sacrifice. And there’s a feeling of, this moment is special because all of that, the good, the bad, it’s brought me here. And I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be,” she told Vogue.
