Tobe Nwigwe is a genre-defining artist who has made a name for himself with hard-hitting lyrical freestyles over tight beats. Known as much for his mint-colored branding as he is for his curated music and video content, he’s become a bit of an entertainment polymath. The Houston native has extended his musical influence into the worlds of film and fashion. Recently, he surprised his mother with a trip to Paris for Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton 2025 men’s collection, where the duo shined bright in a crowd of nearly 800 guests.
Adorned in a striking all-white ensemble designed by her son under his emerging “Chukwu Brand” banner, Mama Nwigwe exuded a regal aura. Her traditional red African headdress added a classic touch of Naija heritage. The outfit was perfectly complemented by a custom gold mouth grill, a unique and bold choice that is the cornerstone of Tobe’s brand.
“Be cool, be cool, be cool,” Tobe told his mom as the two sauntered into the Paris show.
Tickled with herself, Mama Nwigwe was indeed the star of the show as she posed for pictures and greeted rappers Pusha T and ASAP Ferg. While Tobe’s mom admitted she had no idea who Pharrell was, she was excited to sit front row at his show.
