How did you celebrate your birthday as a child? Newly-turned 6-year-old Armani Crews decided to celebrate her special day by giving back and feeding the homeless in her community. Armani usually has a birthday party every year, but according to her mother, this year “she wanted to feed those who she felt were less fortunate.”
After asking family and friends to donate food and care packages, Armani was able to make her birthday wish come true. This past Sunday, Armani’s family and friends joined her at Chicago’s East Garfield Park neighborhood to serve those in need. See a few photos from Armani’s beautiful day of service below.
