We love to see the girls supporting one another!
Last week, Olympic gold medalists Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas headed for a night out to watch the Indiana Fever game, ESPN reports. A huge moment for women’s basketball, the famous attendees drew fanfare, and the Fever secured another victory, defeating the Connecticut Sun 84-80.
Afterward, Biles and Thomas hung out, posing for pictures with the Indiana Fever players, who were downright giddy to meet the Olympians. The adorable post-game moment was caught on camera as each player greeted the women and jumped for joy after their individual pics. Both Biles and Thomas said that while it was their first WNBA game, it surely wouldn’t be their last.
“First WNBA game of many! Had so much fun supporting these stars,” Thomas posted to social media.
“EVERYONE WATCHES WOMENS SPORTS. So happy to be able to go support! My first of many WNBA games,” added Biles.
