Ahead of a recent Steelers game, cornerback Joey Porter Jr. had a special pre-game moment as his father, Steelers legend and former coach Joey Porter Sr., returned to the field. The crowd roared as Porter Sr. stepped onto the turf in his old jersey while his son, @joeyporterjr, watched proudly from the sidelines.

Porter Jr., now playing for the team his father once dominated, called it a “full-circle moment,” sharing, “He wanna play right now… That’s tough.”
Drafted by Pittsburgh in 1999, Porter Sr. earned a place as one of the franchise’s greatest pass rushers, contributing to a Super Bowl win and earning multiple All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors, according to Sports Illustrated.
