He did it from the kindness of his heart!
A Florida A&M University (FAMU) student recently went viral after being caught on camera giving his belongings away to a homeless man, WTXL reports.
Jabari Richardson is a senior at FAMU. Recently, he was in the process of moving and decided to participate in a random act of kindness. Unbeknownst to him, a motorist saw his generosity and caught the whole thing on tape.
In the video, Richardson is seen getting out of his car while on an exit ramp, giving shoes and clothes to a homeless man holding a sign. A TikTok user caught the entire thing on video, writing, “I don’t know this young man but he deserves to go viral.”

Richardson said since he was moving, he wanted to give away his clothes to someone who needed it as opposed to selling them. Seeing the man asking for help seemed like a perfect opportunity to do that. The moment was so random that Richardson didn’t even know he had been filmed until reporters tracked him down.
“As I was growing up, my mom always taught me there’s a lot of people that are in need. Not everyone’s [as] blessed as I am. My mom always had clothes and shoes on my back. I can definitely take that for granted. Anything can be gone in the blink of an eye,” he told reporters.
To date, the video has garnered more than six million views on TikTok.
May you be richly blessed for your good deeds, Jabari!
